It was in the news few days ago that Nigerian singer, Reekado Banks has parted ways with Mavin Records after the musician took to Instagram to praise and thank Don Jazzy and his team for the support he has enjoyed for the past five years.
Today, Reekado “is going forward” and has announced his own record label, Banks Music.

He made the announcement in a video announcing himself and his team in grand style.
Reekado’s exit from Mavin Records got reactions that were all positive as fans and social media commentators hailed him for leaving the label the right way.
The singer got signed to Mavin records in 2013.
