President George Weah government has already taken a raft of measures including closing bars, and banning public gatherings to contain the outbreak. The number of confirmed coronavirus cases on the African continent continues to rise. There are currently an estimated 2400 cases with over 60 reported deaths, with the latest of these deaths having been the Cameroonian jazz legend, Manu Dibango and popular Zimbabwean media personality and broadcaster Zororo Makamba.
