Host at Liberian Influence, Benita Urey and several others are set to be honored at this year’s annual African Virtuous Women Awards to be held in Abuja, Nigeria.
CEO of Giselle Magazine, Lydia Freeman has been invited as a media delegate from the United States of America to cover the awards ceremony.
The award scheme which holds for the first time in Abuja will see women from Liberia being honored.

Benita is a host at the Liberian Influence who have used her platform to promote Liberian Art and Culture. Benita’s role in the Liberian entertainment industry has seen her scoop lots of awards already including her recent award she won at the Liberian Youth Award where she took the opportunity to speak of sea erosion in Liberia.
Morrinna is a fashion designer and owner of Rinna’s Clothing based in Accra, Ghana. Morrinna have done a great job in revitalizing the fashion industry in Liberia and abroad and have seen her clothing company design for top companies’ fashion week including her recent project at the 2018 Mercedes Benz fashion week in Accra.
Hon. Munah Pelham- Youngblood is National Legislator at the House Of Representatives, Republic of Liberia.
Hon. Youngblood has done a great job since taking the seat as the representative of district #9 Montserrado County, where she empowers more young people in the district and country at large.
Grace is a Radio and television producer/presenter at Hott Fm 107.9 Liberia. Popularly known as Dj Master Queen, Grace has already walked away with lots of International and local awards since showcasing her talents in the Liberian Entertainment Industry.
Augustina Kou Monpleh is the owner and founder of Shop.Kou which deals in traditional country clothes and also serves as CEO of Liberian Star View which focuses on international and local entertainment news, fashion design and celebrity life.
Alice G. Yeebahn is the President of the Liberian Marketer’s Association who has since used her role as president to restructure several market buildings in the country, and has also brought unity and peace among entrepreneurs in Liberia.
