On the show, he plays the mysterious and charming Mr. Ketch. His character has been described as a textbook psychopath; good one day and evil the next. Starring opposite Amy Acker, he played a single dad who falls in love and gets married after his daughter makes it her Christmas wish. The movie which debuted on Lifetime television network in November 2011, received mixed reviews from critics as it garnered 3.75 of five stars from Therefore I Blog’s CJ and it’s yet to be rated on Rotten Tomatoes. The film is also liked by a good number of Google users and thus, attracted a huge fan-base for Haydn-Jones.

White House Down (2013)

David Haydn-Jones in 2013, proved his mettle as a versatile actor by sensationally portraying a Reporter in White House Down. He starred alongside Jamie Foxx and Channing Tatum in the action film that performed moderately at the box office, grossing more than $205 million worldwide on a production budget of $150 million.

Even though the film’s action sequences were critically acclaimed, the movie received mixed reviews. It scored a 52% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, as well as on Metacritic, and was liked by 90 percent of Google users.

Supernatural (2016-19)

They include A Cookie Cutter for Christmas (2014) where he played a single dad who finds himself as the subject of a competition between two equally determined women.

Others are My Christmas Dream (2016) and A Bramble Christmas House (2017). In the latter, he played a man who grows suspicious of a nurse after his father left her money upon his demise. He eventually falls in love with the nurse who also happens to be a single mom. David also featured as Dirk in the 2014 Lifetime biopic film, The Gabby Douglas Story, an adaptation of the life story of the American artistic gymnast, Gabby Douglas who became the first African American to emerge as the Olympic individual all-around champion.

He additionally played Dr. Phillip Hamilton in the romantic drama TV film, Bridal Wave (2015) that follows the story of a woman who goes to the resort to get married and then meets a charming local while waiting for her fiancé to show up. Other TV films to the actor’s credit include Ambrose Bierce: Civil War Stories (2006), Fatal Trust (2006), Secrets of the Summer (2008), Taken from Me: The Tiffany Rubin Story (2011), The Toyman Killer (2013), and Love Under the Rainbow (2019).

In the year 1997, David Haydn-Jones scored the role of Dan Cullen in one episode of Wind at My Back. Two years later, he played Steven in an episode of the Fox sitcom, Melrose Place. The sitcom focused on a bunch of young adults living in a block of apartments known as Melrose Place. He subsequently appeared in an episode of Two of a Kind (1998), Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1999), It’s Like, You Know (1999), Charmed (1999), The Invisible Man (2000), and Judging Amy (2002).

He also appeared in two episodes of the hit CBS sitcom, The King of Queens from 2004-2005. Between 2006 and 2012, Haydn-Jones had minor roles in Medium as Mr. Morehouse, Naked Josh as Glen Rice, NCIS as Captain Jim Mills, Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior as Kurt Reston, Debra as Officer Lunford, and Spyburbia as Dad. More so, he has scored appearances in other TV series such as Modern Family (2013), Mistresses (2014), and Taken (2018).
