Abraham P. Kallon (alias DETRENCH) was born February 12, unto the union of Mr. & Mrs. Jerome M. Kallon who were also born in Liberia.
Detrench hailed from the Barnersville area in Montserrado County and is 10 times different awards winner in Liberia as a Liberian musician with three different international awards.
Awards include: Best R&B artist award, Best POP Artist Of The year, US Embassy Liberia, Song and Song writer Competition Awards Winner, Best Dress Artist Award, Best Song Of The Year, Most Featured Artist Award, Best Album Of The Year and many more.
He produced the first Cartoon music video ever in the history of Liberia and is now refer to as the Father of Animation and cartoon motion production in Liberia.
Detrench is also a Video producer, editor and director. He has a BSc. Degree in Economics and a Master Degree in General Procurement. He is the CEO and Procurement Consultant at DePRO. Inc. Liberia.
He has written over 332 songs of which only 35 has been recorded making him have 3 albums and is working on his present album call Progression Africa and is now in Africa. Detrench is a Prime funding member of the HIPCO genre of music in Liberia and is now introducing a new style to Liberian music called “Zuma Chew“.

He described “Zuma Chew” style “this style is basically a medium gearing oneness in Africa, where citizens from different African countries can get to listen, sing and learn different cultures through a song(s) across Africa and also different local tribes feeling the spirit of oneness through their song(s) which include(s) diverse local dialects in one song either by several artists participation or by an individual artist”.
Detrench is now petitioned by most artists/musicians in and around Liberia including artists in diaspora.
