Guyana Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements
This visa is issued to travellers visiting Guyana with the intention of engaging in business activities such as business meetings, business conferences, and negotiating or signing contracts with other business partners in Guyana. Guyana visa application form should be signed and fully completed by the applicant. Applicant’s passport should be valid for at least 6 months beyond stay in Guyana. An official letter of invitation from the inviting company in Guyana stating the nature of the business, purpose and duration of the visit to Guyana. The business letter must also state who will be responsible for the applicant’s finances during the granted stay in Guyana. A letter from the applicant’s employer in Angola indicating the applicant’s job position, salary level, and length of employment. The cover letter should state if the applicant is of good conduct. Proof of previous trade relations between the applicant’s company and the host company should be provided, if any. Documents that show that applicant has intentions of returning to the home country at the expiry of this visa are required. Holders of this visa are prohibited from attending trade fairs, conferences, and business seminars relating that is not related to the required business stated on the business letter. Guyana Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
This visa is issued to foreigners travelling to Guyana for the purpose of sightseeing, recreation, and relaxation. Foreigners travelling to Guyana to visit their friends and relatives are eligible to apply for this visa. A letter of invitation from the host in Guyana is required. The letter must state the relationship between the applicant and the host and contain the valid contact information of the host. Holders of this visa are allowed to attend festivals and events taking place in the country. If the applicant is under the age of 18 years, a copy of the original birth certificate should be provided. A notarized consent signed by both parents of minors should also be provided. This visa does not allow the applicant to engage in business activities while in Guyana. All applicants are required to provide proof of the incentive of returning to their home country at the expiry of this visa. Proof of payment of visa application fee is required.
