Since her 2018 breakout, SmoovhqEnt sensational MC Caro has released a barrage of hits including ‘I Na Talking To You‘, ‘For D Bae‘, ‘Bring Our Money Back‘, ‘One More Round‘, ‘Listen‘, to her recent one “Pull Up” featuring Feouls, which was accompanied with a lovely colorful visual directed by Roland Barbiah.

She has amassed a huge following befitting of an A-list artist. MC Caro has also broken boundaries regarding how a female artist should look and act in order to succeed in the mainstream. After years of fresh experiences as a star, MC Caro anticipated debut album signals a new dawn for the rapper.

MC Caro has her eyes set on another big career milestone, the release of her highly anticipated debut album ‘King Caro The Album‘, that explores love, its complications, grooves, cruise and the way in which the complex emotion defines all human interactions.

On ‘King Caro The Album‘, MC Caro is sets to deliver her best form, exploring more range in her songwriting and showing a level of growth and confidence that seemed amiss since her debut in 2018.

Now, having given us a solid introduction to what she has to offer, MC Caro is playing the long game and she’s preparing for the next level. Few weeks ago, she announces the release of her first single in 2021, titled ‘Cinderella‘, and is clearing the space for the release of her debut album. So while we wait for the project to be ready and perhaps any new teasers, we caught up with the rapper about her debut album, her creative process, and more.

MusicLiberia: How would you describe your 2020?

MC Caro: 2020, was the year I actually found myself and discovered lots of self potentials regrading entertainment as a whole. With me not just being an artist but an all round entertainer.

MusicLiberia: How do you feel about your soon-to-be release debut album? Are you excited?

MC Caro: My debut album is almost everything about me. From my just added stage name (KINGCARO) which is the album title to whom have become over the years. The growth, the versatility, the composure. Life in full package. I want the world to hop on it and feel every bit of it. I want Liberians to financially support and cherish it, It means so much to me.

MusicLiberia: Your songwriting is one of your trademarks. Describe your songwriting process, from when you listen to an instrumental to when you write.

MC Caro: My song writing skill is very spiritual. Sometimes I even get scared of myself. I don’t understand how I jump from writing a world class hip hop song to writing on a ‘Gbema Beat’ not many people have that kind of skill. Is a separate talent, just in few people
