President Akufo-Addo Declares No LGBTQI+ Under His Government (video)

The president of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has reiterated that his government will never endorse the same sex marriage and anything associated with LGBTQI+ in Ghana.

Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo disclosed during the funeral of the late, Richard Diedog Dombo, former Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Railways Development Authority. According to the abled president, his government is not ready and would never support the LGBTQI+.

The funeral was also attended by the vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and other dignitaries. After the service, the vice president wrote as quoted:

”Today, I joined the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and other faithfuls of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the One Week memorial service of my good friend, the late Richard Diedong Dombo who, until his demise, was the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Railways Development Authority.

’We have lost an honest and dedicated public servant. Richard Dombo served Ghana and the New Patriotic Party well.

’Richard, may your soul rest in perfect peace.”
