Remembering Quincy L. Burrowes

Please allow me space on your timeline to remember the life of one of the most talented musician Liberia ever had, the man Quincy L. Burrowes.

March 3 marks three years since you passed away. The Late Quincy B, was a very talented composer & vocalist and this is a very rare combination. The songs he composed are full of our rich Liberian messages of wisdom, peace and unity.

Up to this day, the messages in his songs are very useful. The biggest lesson to learn from the life of Quincy B, is that he discovered what he was called to do and did it well by informing and educating the society.

This is something that I would advise all the musicians to emulate without any reservations, because as musicians they must realise that they have a noble task of promoting and upholding our culture. Hence, their music must be devoid of malice and disrespect.

Quincy B, was the perfect definition of creativity, originality and talent. His space in the music industry cannot be taken by anyone but I pray that we can have someone even with half the talent that was in Quincy to grace our music industry.

Continue to rest in peace dearest brother and son of the soil till we meet again.
