Fast-rising Liberian musician, Rocka$h has explained how he got his stage name from his dad.

Real name Nelly Ahmed Sheriff, Rocka$h says the name came about as result of his father’s love for a particular movie Rockash Dad.

“When I was coming up, my father used to call me Rock which I didn’t like actually, but my father later told me that he got the name from a movie (Rockash dad) that he loves watching, and when I discovered my musical talent, people around started calling me Roca fella until 2010 when I produced my first demo right after my high school graduation” he said.


Few weeks ago, photos of Rocka$h took over the social media for being one of Liberia’s handsome and sexy artistes. The young sensational is becoming Hot Cake on the block, getting interviews from radio stations, as club DJs, Radio personalities, music vendors and promoters keep playing his songs, most especially, his latest effort “Party with me”, featuring Tow Hitz artists DenG and Kobbazie.

The promising star, who is currently signed to Infinity Records, discloses that he’s currently working on many new projects and wants his fans to know that he got a lot in Store for them. He also asks his supporters to vibe to ‘Party with me’ till the next project drops.

Rocka$h is a fast growing underground artiste that is making his way through the top with lots of determination and his style of Afo Pop singing mixing with local dialect (Mandigo), English, Koloqua and French that is blowing his Fabs and music lovers wide all over across the country.
