Tekno Congratulates Grammy Winners, Wizkid And Burna Boy On Their Big Win For Nigeria

Nigerian singer and songwriter, Tekno has joined the league of celebrities who congratulated Burna Boy and Wizkid for their win at the Grammy Awards held over the weekend.

At the Grammy Awards held on Marck 14, Burna Boy’s Twice As Tall emerged as the winner of the Best Global music Album of the Year while Wizkid’s music with Beyonce, Brown Skin Girl won the Best Music Video of the Year. This victory made Burna Boy and Wizkid the first Nigerians to win a Grammy Awards.

The internet was buzzing with a lot of congratulatory messages for the two musicians. Also sharing in their joy, Tekno shared a picture of Wizkid and Burna Boy standing beside a car while he congratulated them on his Facebook page.

The 2021 Grammy Awards was scheduled to take place in January but with the spike and second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, the date was postponed to Sunday, March 14.
